On Tuesday 6th of June our U14s took on Cuala B at Thomastown Rd in round 8 of the County League 6 . It was 15 aside with 2 subs for a 7.30pm start. We were always in control of this local south side derby game playing with wind advantage we got off to a good start with Ben scoring the first of his many points from play & frees. On 22min the big strong Cuala full forward kicked the 1st & 2nd of 3 goals that he would score in this match. In the last play of the half Alex Mason after receiving a nice pass from Peter on the right kicked first time to the roof of the Cuala net for a great goal that would be the difference between the teams at the end. H.T Score Cuala 2:02 Gers 1:08.

Second half Ben who was linking up with Dan at midfield added more points from frees & play. Cuala struck for their 3rd goal on 15min to leave them just one behind. With time nearly up Ben landed another great free from distance to give his team a 2 point win. F.T Score Cuala 3:04 Gers 1:12

This was another great team performance from our U14s Feile winning team. From Carl in goal to Alex number 17 everyone giving 110%. Thanks to Jamie, Peter & Alex from our U13s who played up for this game. It was great to see & hear Eugene on the side line encouraging/cheering on the boys in what was another great win for our U14s.

Our U14s completed the 2nd part of their double today Saturday 10th with a 2 point win over St Olafs at home. It was round 9 today their last game before the Summer break. This win see’s our U14s move to joint top of the league 6 on 14 points table along with Man O War & Westmanstown who they still have to play in September. It is still all to play for in this league.
