Day 1 review

Pictures and a write up available from day 1

The Geraldines 2019 Mini All-Ireland saw over 100 players and their parents gather at Foxrock Parish Field for throw in at 4pm last Saturday, 31st August 2019. The Opening Ceremony was a colourful parade of County Teams and their Managers led by piper around the pitches, waving their County flags.
All teams were put through their paces as the games got underway with each Team playing 4 mini matches over 4 pitches. The weather held and though it turned chilly towards the end of the session, it didn’t stop players and parents heading to the ice cream van, kindly provided by Teddy’s Ice Creams.
Between organisers, volunteers, referees, parents and players, everyone worked hard to make the evening a great success and all went off weary but in great spirits, with lots of goals and points scored. It was super to see the boys and girls line out together on the pitch and work together as teams. We particularly welcome players who are not part of our Club and who may have played Gaelic football for the first time. All scores and tables can be found at the following link and we look forward to our Finals Day next Saturday where it all kicks off again at 4pm at the Parish Field.

The Results will be available up on the web site and can be viewed here and the League table link is here.
