On a lovely Monday evening both teams travelled down to the fine Bray Emmetts grounds to take on the Wicklow footballers. Missing our usual Holly Park contingent due to a singing engagement plus missing a few other key men due to sickness and injury, we were a little apprehensive on the way down. We need not have been!

The Gers were in fine form, dominating on both pitches from early on – with some great moves and scores that shows how well the boys are developing. For the U11s, it gave them a chance to begin to gel as a team; for the U12s, it was a confidence boost before their big game this Saturday against Kilmacud Crokes.

Well done to all the boys – roll on the weekend!
