Well done to all the Under 8’s boys who took on Templeogue/Synge Street on Saturday last in the VEC grounds, Terenure.
The club fielded 2 teams in four very competitive matches, each team playing twice. All the boys acquitted themselves very well with some excellent team work in all areas, particularly the mid-field and backs. The matches were all close affairs and the boys skill levels are evidently growing as each week passes. The boys – and mentors – enjoyed themselves immensely and were made feel very welcome by our rivals.
Roll on our next matches, as the boys are eager to be even more competitive!
